Rutherford Hill Collateral

Client

Perched high on a scenic hilltop, Rutherford Hill Winery overlooks the famed Rutherford Bench, drawing from Napa Valley's finest vineyards to craft exceptional wines. Established in 1972, the winery's founders recognized the valley's unique similarity to Pomerol, pioneering Merlot as Napa's signature variety. Since acquiring the winery in 1996, the Terlato Family has carried forward a legacy of excellence, investing in the estate and refining the character and complexity of every bottle.

Project Scope

To coincide with the grand opening of their new, luxury tasting pavilion—Valley Vista Terrace—Rutherford Hill requested a revamp of all of their tasting room collateral. I designed a high touch winery brochure in a folder format to accommodate and secure from winds multiple inserts, providing templates for in-house updates (menus, bottle list, etc.). Additional needs included bags and carriers, which I concepted and executed for a cohesive, on equity look. A screen of their notable cave on the side of the carriers harmonizes the past with a refreshed look. These elements supported ushering in a new era for which we captured in this video, showcasing Rutherford Reimagined.
