Client

Starborough is a single SKU brand featuring a quintessential New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Its mission is to deliver holistic refreshment by harnessing the beauty and rejuvenation of the natural world. At every touchpoint, Straborough strives to deliver emotional refreshment because of its crisp and lively taste profile, and its rich connection with nature. 

Project Scope

The client tasked us with developing packaging for a new product—a balanced living, low alcohol Sauvignon Blanc that aligns with the current equity while differentiating from the core. Light wine as a category is growing in popularity, and Starborough is the perfect choice to expand into that market. After conducting an immersion and audit of the category, I developed a 4-tiered strategy that provided differentiated ways to approach and visualize this new venture ultimately landing on a package that brings to life lightness and relaxation. Extending the experience to in-store, the shipper expresses similar quality cues and highlights the health claims as a differentiator.  In addition to leading the design process, I also created the name "Starlite".
